A class action lawsuit has been filed on behalf of current and former Target Group Leaders against Target Corporation (“Target”) alleging that Target misclassified them as exempt from the law’s overtime pay requirements. The complaint asks the Court to require Target to pay Group Leaders for the many overtime hours they have worked for Target in recent years.
The lawsuit is pending in the Northern District of New York federal court. The case is LaPointe v. Target Corporation, No. 1:16-CV-00216.
